Ellen McManmon

It is with extreme sadness that we share the passing of our Ellen McManmon, age 69. She has been called home to our parents, John and Mary, and our brother John JR.

Ellen is survived by her sisters Donna (Charlie) and Audrey (Ed), nephew Jason (Theresa) and great niece Keira Joy. In addition to her immediate family, Ellen had an extended family of loving cousins and many dear friends.

Ellen spent most of her life on LI and recently and moved to New Jersey to be closer to her family. Ellen passed peacefully in her beautiful little home in Whiting that she loved so much. We are grateful for the 2 years of retired life she enjoyed with us here on the Jersey Shore and are heartbroken by this sudden loss.

Ellen was an animal lover and we are thankful that we found a loving home for her cat Harley, who she cherished. In memory of Ellen, please feel free to make a donation to the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility who has lovingly and generously cared for Harley while her transition to her new home is underway.
