Glen Carter Carson, 81, of Little Egg Harbor, passed the morning of March 5, 2026, in the comfort of his home. Glen was born in Plainfield, NJ to parents Florence and William Carter Carson. When Glen was in the eighth grade, he and his family moved to Toms River, NJ. In 2001, Glen and his wife Jo Ann found their forever home in Little Egg Harbor.
Glen proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 through 1967 during the Vietnam War era, before going on to build a lifelong career in the plumbing profession. Glen was a licensed plumber for over forty years beginning his career at Fort Dix, before moving on to become lead plumber for the Showboat Resort Casino in Atlantic City, NJ until his retirement in 2010.
Glen was an active member of the American Legion Post in Little Egg Harbor. He enjoyed working with his hands and carefully crafted model boats as well as model guns. When he wasn’t creating models, Glen would go fishing or be found relaxing on the beach but overall, he was a family man. He loved his family and cherished every minute that he was able to share with them.
Glen is predeceased by his brother Wayne Carson. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann; his children, Tammy (Robert) Scholes and Mike Carter Carson; his grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Bradin, Jake, and Jared; his great-grandson, Luka Carter; and his nephews, Jonathan and Jason.
