Joseph Fraher

Joseph J. Fraher, age 60, of Forked River passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Born in Queens, NY, he lived there and in Lakewood and Barnegat before moving to Forked River in 2007. Mr. Fraher was a tax-preparer and an enrolled agent, both self-employed and for Intuit Tax Services. He was an avid chess player and was a lifelong fan of the NY Giants. He is survived by his significant other, Kathleen Farnkopf; his children, Joseph, Michael, David, and Beth; his stepchildren, Richard, Shawn, Ryan and Joseph; fourteen grandchildren, and his siblings, Richard and Patricia Fraher. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11:00am, followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
