Joseph Sciame

Joseph Sciame, 59, of Waretown passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home after a long illness. Born in Queens, NY, he lived in South Toms River and Lanoka Harbor before settling in Waretown in 1986. Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Sciame was a tractor trailer driver for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, did many toy runs for children & rides to honor veterans. Joe was known for his ability to fix anything. We would like to thank Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where Joseph received a bilateral lung transplant, the donor and his family. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Sciame, in 2011. He is survived by his mother, Fran Sciame of Lanoka Harbor; his sister, Diane Sciame of Lanoka Harbor, and his cats, Felix and Oscar. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 10:00am at the funeral home, with interment immediately following at Good Luck Cemetery, Forked River.
